Mass Murdering Sunday Night

So since I'm not cool enough to get my own Mustang done I riding shotgun in my cousing 91 GT5 -speed. His car is modded pretty good here is a list of what I know for sure: 3.55's, MM subframes, ported GT-40 heads, FMS RR, FMS X303 cam, ported stock lower and matched upper both done by me, bigger TB, bigger MAF, LT headers, o/r h-pipe, flowmaster 2 chamber cat-back, Cheap econo upper/lower control arms, 275 Nitto DR's in the back, Vortech S-trim smaller pulley making 9psi.

Anyway so first encounter is a Dodge SRT4, we were going dow a two lane busy strip mall section in traffic and we could see up ahead(5-6 cars) the SRT-4 would slow down and then get on it till he ran out of room. He did this for about 3 miles down the strip. We get at a light where we are in the left lane and two cars are before us and he is in the right wit one car infront of him. After the light it goes to a 3-lane road that goes up a steep hill for about 2 miles.

So the light go green and the SRT-4 goes real slow so the car infront of him gets way ahead we stay back our nose at his rear bumper. I don't think he ever really noticed us. Anyway the cars in front of us are probably get about 600 feet ahead of us and were doing 15mph. When we hear the SRT-4 get on it hard, immediately my cousin romps on it. We almost immeditaley get even wit the SRT-4. Then when my cousin goes to the next gear and we start to really pull on him. Only got about a car length ahead and he had to shut it down cause we ran out of room. Didn't get another chance to go at it cause traffic was too heavy.

About 15minutes after the the run in wit the SRT-4 my cousin goes to go home. We get on the onramp and I notice their is a silver STI behind us. I tell my cousin and he goes " I know". So we get on the highway which is under construction so it's 2-lanes down to 3. Right away the STI cuts across and gets in the outside lane and flys by us. But since there was traffic he couldn't go very far. My cousin kept about 3 car lengths back on the inside lane. When the highway went back to 3 lanes my cousin went to the farthtest outside lane. He sped up and started to quickly catch up to the STI.

When we got to about the rear bumper of the STI we heard him hit it. My cousin the procceded to go WOT this was at about 65mph. The STI initially pulled a couple feet on us. Then my cousin went into the next gear and again he started to catch up pretty quick. By 85-90mph he was even wit the STI he wound out the gear a lil longer and got the STI to his back bumper and then let off cause we were a good tick over 100mph. Just to be fair in the story the STI did have 4 people in it while it was just me and my cousin in his.

Final one: Got off the highway and came to a set of lights right outside of downtown. We are sitting there when a black SS pulls up next to us. It was some1 my cousin knew so they chatted for a sec and then the kids ask my cousin if he wants to go.. my cousin says sure. From the light it goes about 300feet and close down to one lane. So bascially it's first one to get there wins.

So my cousin and the kid both bring their revs up and waiting for the light to go green. Light goes green and we just pull a 1/2 car on him right out of the whole my cousins cars hooks good. The we just procced to keep pulling away from him at a dam good rate.By the time we got to the spot where it's one lane we were a good 2-3 car lengths ahead.

Cliff Notes:
S/C 5.0 beats SRT4, STI, Camaro SS

Re: Mass Murdering Sunday Night

Those are some tuff cars to beat, especially the SS. Excellent kills. By the way, what kind of numbers does that 5.0 put down to the wheels with that combo?

Honestly I couldn't tell you he has never had it on a dyno or up at the track so can guess that way either. Your probably looking at around 350-400hp at the rear wheels.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
