I'm the new happy proud owner of a revell corrado. Got it on ebay for a reasonable price, usually they sell for about $100-160. Best buy i could get for a car i really admire. Once i recieve it, i will start a progress thread, won't be stock. Plan on changing the grill, eyelids, bigger wheels, maybe some bbs wheels because they came stock on certain models. Does anyone make metal bbs wheels? I guess this is a useless thread, but i couldn't help it!!!!!

Re: I Got IT, I Got It
Likelihood of that getting re-released I would think is very high. Nice model though...

Re: I Got IT, I Got It
i see then... but still... $80 some. too much for me. most expensive model i have had was probably less then $30, don't remember how much my first kits costed. but nice grab then. have fun building this one.

Hehehe... I know exactly what you mean! I've often been so happy about getting a kit that I really really really really wanted, and posting a somewhat useless thread about it. LOL
Up at 3am... logging onto ebay... waiting until the last few seconds of the auction to place my maximum bid... and... YEEEEESSSSS, I WON!!! I wouldn't worry too much about the price, as long as you're reasonably disciplined and don't let it get out of hand. The most I've spent on a kit is somewhere in the order of about AUS$225. I did however spend about 5 months saving up for it with minimal purchases during that time. I suppose this is the only plus side to building kits so slowly at times! |

Re: I Got IT, I Got It
oh that makes me so sad!!! I had 2 of those in my collection, and I sold half of my collection to a friend for $300 (about 65 kits), and I didn't even realize those were in there. maybe he'll sell it back to me....here's hoping!!
