what ram air hood

on the 4th of july i got into an accident. i hit a deer. i need to replace the hood, and luckily thats all. i have a $1000 deductible so i dont think i will claim it on my insurance. but since i am replacing i might as well go for a ram air hood. any suggestions on what hood i should get?
Thanks
Craig

Can I ask, what mods do you have done with your car? The ram-air hood will give you nothing without the ram-air box, another $200.00. Then out of that you end up with about 10 extra HP.
Now if your driving a GTP, and you add a CAI and a 3.4" pulley you can get around 35HP.
The ram-air hoods look good, but not worth price.
Good luck

It's the gift that keeps on giving - giving you the right to more attention from johnny law, giving you the right to more borderline speeding tickets instead of warnings! The more agressive your car looks, the more agressively the law will treat you! I say go for the sleeper look.

The OEM GM stock hood for a GT costs around $570.00 retail list. There are CAPA certified aftermarket hoods for around $250.00.

I hope your Dad's not the Sheriff of Kern County, CA.....lol.
