it all depends on what you want to do with your car. Is it for show, for go?? Any way. it's up to you to decide, the difference between all the models and trends are minimal. Except for weight that is.

Horn out.

Lol. I don't know anything about civics, thats why I'm asking in the civic forum. It will be for go but then I can get a body kit for show. Even a crx is ok, i just need more information.

if it is for go then get a hatch, lighter then coupes and 4 doors. and i am sure that you can find a good lookin body kit for it. maybe pull a nice swap or something nice like that. its your car, do what you want. good luck.

No difference between Si and SiR, SiR is the canadian version of your US Si and you don't have them in US anyway.

92-95 hatch are the lightest civics you can have minus the CRX i think. So they are best suited for go. LOT of aftermarkets parts.

96-99 hatch are a little heavier and are best suited for show, depends of your taste of course. LOT of aftermarkets parts too.

the others are good too but have less aftermarkets parts, they have they share of but still less than the older models, logic anyway.

That's probably all I can say! Correct me if I'm wrong guys.

Horn out.

Well price varies a lot with year and milage so you'll have a good selection on that...and if you're go either get an Si with the B-series engines, or get something cheap and do a swap

The 3rd gen was something I needed only for a short time. I can spend about 18grand on the car right now (university student). 18grand should be enough for the used car plus a few parts inside.
