Tamiya Lancer Evo V WRC Wheel Size
Does anybody know the tire size for the five spoke rims that come with the Tamiya Evo V WRC version? I want to know if I can fit some 235/40/ZR18 Pirelli's over them. I'd estimate they are 19" in scale, from comparing them to some other rims I have, but I might be wrong. Thanks

You can stretch rubber tires. Thats the great thing about rubber! No one will ever know if you don't tell them you have an 18" tire on a 19" rim. No body is gonna go up to your model and measure the diameter. Anyways its really hard to tell, but Fujimi and Aoshima throw in tires in the aftermarket wheel sets that don't match rim/tire size. Now did you know that? Don't worry-just make sure the fit isn't too tight. You may have probs in a few years if you force fit them. They'll tend to crack more easily under strain. Good luck.
