Re: 41 willys

You should post some pics of how each one will look so people will have an idea if they don't know the difference between the terms.

Re: 41 willys

Pro Mod = largely stock appearing body, huge blower or injection hat out the top, tubbed, tube chassis, big friggin wing on the back, loud paint job

Here's a real basic model buildup of one, but you get the idea:

Gasser = early 1960s style straight-axle drag car, high in the front, usually with a blown hemi and vintage graphics, no wing, stock body

Again, basic, no graphics, but it is a gasser:

Re: 41 willys

Why not try something new nŽdifferent with the willys!I t semms that every Willys`41 ( both 1:24 and 1:1) are popped from the same old Gasser-style. Becomes boring after a while..

Why not build as a rod? Take the wheel/tires from The Revell `29 Ratrod Ford, give it a slick plain black paint, severely lower the front end , and TaaDhaa a one-of-a-kind Willys`41 at the next modelshow!

Mark,
First you post picture of my butt, now you post a picture of my leg.
How is it my body parts are in so many of the pictures you post?

I like the Pro Street look idea for the Willys... But build what you want!

Look like prowler wheels to me. I think gasser or a real hot rod(rat rod as some call 'em) willys are to cool of a car to be "don't touch" trailer queens.

well, it depends on what kit you have, they made two version, the Gasser and the Street ROd, i've built the street rod, it was a great kit

here's a pic of my finished one, I built it a few years ago and my skill have gotten better since then

Quite trying to get in the pic, we know you like your pic taken but come on

Yes those are Prowler wheels, I buy a lot of kits just for the wheels.
