55 Nomad paint

Argh, this is the hardest part ever. I'm painting my '55 AMT Nomad dualtone and I can't decide where to make the line. The top is going to be Roadster Orange, and the bottom is going to be Dark Grey Pearl. I need help deciding on where to put the line between the two though. Any help on choosing the line, and how to split them will help and is much appreciated.

Re: 55 Nomad paint

Are you keeping the side trim? If so, just use that to breal up the 2tone. Otherwise, make the roof 1 color, and from the pillars down, or including the pillars, the bottom color. Good luck.

Re: 55 Nomad paint

There really isn't a side trim on the Nomad Bel Air, the Bel Air does have the full trim though.

I decided to go with the roof and pillars the roadster orange, and everything else dark grey pearl. The roof is currently drying and so is the hood and trunk. The dark grey and orange will be a very very nice combination. I might take some pics if I can get the card reader working.

ARGH! I could no longer be paitent and I started to mask off the roof for the grey, but it ends up that the paint started to peel off and now I'm very frustrated. It was my best paintjob yet and my impatientness screwed it up the ass.
