all power h22a

Pretty soon im getting a 97 accord coupe and i plan on droping a h22a in and doing alot of stuff to her while i got her apart for a year or so. But i want to get a jdm h22a for it but im not sure if i should slap a turbo on it with alot of machine work ,pistons rods and cams or build up an all power engine with new pistons cams rods crankshaft and machine work done to it with new valve springs intake manifold injectors and a dc 4-2-1 header. im stuck in between a rock. both would be sweet . i would also throw a 50 or 75 shot nos on it to. i ve been reading alot about sohc are better turbo and dohc are better all power but iv seen a few turbo h22a engines out there.if some one could tell me your opinion on this that would be great.

I say go turbo if you can cram it in there. Dollar for dollar, your turbos gonna beat the all motor version. If you want to go with big boost, just make sure you have stronger internals/enough fuel and tuning.(dont get an fmu and an inline pump and call it a day) Also, if youre strengthening internals anyway, the sohc isnt gonna be better.

Right now I have my JDM H22 sitting in the shop getting it's quaife, clutch, and flywheel installed. Along with the pistions, rods........ and of course a huge turbo and maybe some nitrous. You're limited to what size turbo you can get if you wanna keep your PS and AC. I just found somebody to reroute my wiring so I can squeeze in the bigger turbo. If I were you I'd say go with a turbo rather than trying to do an h22 all motor.
