Use a hair drier to heat them. Gently pull them off after they get hot.

There are several companies like Meguiars and Mothers that make a product that uses clay as part of their cleaning. I used this with excellent results.

You probably won't beleive when i say this but you might want to try pait thinner, and a rough rag, that is what i used when i removed the pinstriping off my maxima. It did not damage the paint or the gloss at all. Trust me on this one, but i used a mineral pait thinner, it's not as strong so you will have to let it sit for just a few seconds and then use your finger nails the rub off the glue. :silly2:

sorry but i say paint thinner is just too risky
if you want that glue part off, use a clay bar
take the glue out in no time and give you an awesome shiny smooth surface as well. or you can just go to autozone and buy a bottle of adhesive remover for like 3.50

what i used

I used boiling water and just poured a bunch on to get off the emblem then poured somemore and picked off the glue with my hand, it clumped off really nicely for me. Then i cleaned it up with some rubbing compound, after i washed my car and covered the hole from behind of course.

try usin a hair dryer to heat it up and then some bug n tar remover to get the stickiness off. thats what i used to take off my pinstripe and it worked perfect. Just be sure to wash and wax the bug n tar afterwords.

He is right...I went to the dealer one day to pick up my car, and there was a little bit of overspray. I asked him to remove it and he said okay. He came back with a bottle of thinner, and I was like "what are you doing to my car" he said the thinner won't hurt the job b/c it was hardened to the car. The bake the paint on the car and then the clearcoat will no desolve using thinner.

GET CAR POLISH......like some NuFinish and just let it sit on there for 10 minutes. Wipe it off and then do it again until its clean, very easy and even helps your paint =)

Are you positive there are not going to be any holes. Someone up there said they used something to fill a hole after they took the emblems off.

I just did this the other day along with my pinstripes. all you have to do is use a heat gun about six inches away from the emblems and heat untill the glue is warm. use some floss of fishing line and saw behing the emblems they should pop right off. Then heat up the glue a little bit and it should ball up and come right off. Then use some goof-off to get off the residue. then wash and wax and walla.
