Thumbs up Another kill for the bone stock Z28...

well, last night i was coming home from work at about 11:00 or so. there is one red light that has two lanes and it turned red right before i got there. i look behind me, theres an SUV so i figured no race tonight. well he turns right and then a few seconds later a couple guys in a white 97-98ish civic pull up. they have a tastelessly large wing, some mesh style wheels(BBS?), and the back window had stickers out the ass. it was a nice night so i had my windows down. he put his down and revved on me. FRRRRRRRRRRT. i had to check myself to make sure i didnt just crap my pants. nope, it was his fart-trumpet exhaust he looks at me and points forward, i give him thumbs up and point forward. he yelled something to me, but i couldnt quite make it out over his obnoxious exhaust. i believe it was something like "I'm gonna smoke you" or "I'm gonna smack you" lol.

right about now i see that the other lights turned yellow. and by now he has his car sitting at maybe 3-4k rpms and the light turns green. i heard a huge SCRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEECCCHHHH while i was just walking onto the throttle(when i spin them i get nowhere). he still sitting at the line spinning(ok, maybe he moved a FEW feet ) and im already through the intersection. i floored it up to 50, the speed limit was 35. i was WAY in front of him so i shut it down and went back to doing 40. he stayed way behind me, and i never saw him again. so i turned into my development to go home.

on a side note i wasnt anywhere near as shaky or nervous this time. it was maybe for 5-10min afterwards at most.

Yep very funny

it seems to me you need some better cars to race with if yr that fast. Stop telling us story like that. I don't like them anymore.

Who knows in the future you race a normal import civic and you start laughing at it too cause it's not that fast for you.

I don't get it, the guy in the civ should get it that he's so much slower then you.

yeah, i usually end up seeing some fairly good competition around here, such as 99-04 mustang GTs and a few foxbodied mustangs, and there are a few tastefully done-probably quick imports at my school--- but i ALWAYS see them when they are driving in the other direction/there are too many cars around/i gotta get somewhere. it is very annoying.

if you have a problem with me posting about me putting ricers where they belong(last place), then dont bother reading/replying. i know this wasn't a real spectacular race, but if i have others like this, ill try to cheese it up/make it more entertaining(such as with the FRRRRRRRRRRTT thing ).

speedthrill- the whole point of this is that i enlightened him... he ISN'T as fast as he apparently thought. if i were to race a guy witha riced out car that said he doesnt have a chance but will go for fun, then i probably wont bother posting.

Ace$nyper- i know civics can be quick, i bet my next door neighbor would give me a run for the money/probably beat me. he has an older early 90s hatch w/ a B16 swap and all the seats are taken out. i would like to race him if it werent for the fact he has a couple blown pistons and i think a rod or two. apparently he was revving it to like 8000rpms and something broke.

sorry

it's just that when i read yr sig i thought you only are after them.
I normally don't waste my gas to them. Only when they would give me good run. Otherwise i just smile to them and take off normally.

By the way, didn't want to be mean or such. Reread the post and it sounded a bit offensive. Just am a bit on my toes wright now
Bad results this year.

Nice kill man, I like those camaros, thought about getting one once but didnt. Id race anybody who thinks they can hang, you never really know what somebody runs until you race them.
