Hope this helps
I've never heard of an OPEAK?SP? Anyway K&N doesn't make any intakes for the max, just filters. You have to get a PLACE RACING Cold Air Intake (CAI) or you can go to Stillen and get their intake which fits right into the engine bay. That's the one I have. It's great, except I think that I feel a little difference when the car heats up and I can feel a little difference in pick up. If it were me, I would get the CAI. You can go to WARPSPEED.COM They have some good stuff for not too expensive process. The only disadvantage with getting the CAI is the fact you have to drill a 3 diameter hole in the fenderwall under the batteryacid tray. One other thing that prevents me from getting the cai is the fact that I live in a very snowy place... I'm worried that the K&N airfilter would get clogged on the outside with snow, and thus I wouldn't get much air coming in. Of course I can be talking out of my A#$, but I would go with the STILLEN Intake. If you believe that the one you have is fine, then stay with it:smoka:

hell, if ya want to be really cheap, get a drill, take the top of the air filter box, and drill some holes in the thing
