me vs. cavi

driving home with my friend following me beind me in her grand am. i hear somone reving behind me and at first i think its my friend, but realize there is somone next to her and i see the white corner lights on it, so i knew it must be the car next to my friend.

i casually pass through traffic with my friend behind me and the cavi stays right behind my friend and weaves slowly through with us. light up ahead is red and i see the cavi slowly pull out and come next to me. so my friend from behind me calls me and tells me hes going to go for it because he was on her ass the whole time. i look over at the guy and the cavi's got gauges ( she noted he had an exhaust ) he also had a body kit on it and a big ol spoiler... im still on the phone with her and im lookin at the guy and hes jus sittin there casually talkin to his friend, so i jus kept tellin her i dont think hes gonna go. so she jus says he will, race him and kick his ass.

so light goes green i wait to see if he goes and he does so ya...i do then to. sit next to him for jus a sec. then pull 2 lenghts on him. i was at 60 then so i casually slowed back down to 50. so does the cavi and my friend behind me. good thing too cause as soon as we hit 50 again a cop passes us in oncoming lanes. the next red light is 2 left turn lanes. i stay in the outside lane and of coarse the cavalier goes into the inside lane, so he will have a slight advantage there. this red light were sittin at always takes a while, so i sit there and look over at his car and thats when i first saw the gauges and the 2 guys in the car just look over at me and smirk, so i slowly shake my head. when the light finally turns green we both take off and with him in the inside and me on the outside were dead even, then as soon as we hit the straight i jus pull and jus keep going up to about 70-75. bus lenghts ahead, i flash my 4 ways and later on down the road make my final right turn. when my friend finally gets home after me she then told me she tried to keep up with us but she was way far back as well with the caviler. she drives a 96 grand am gt ..

cliff notes:

raced cavi from stop and from turn won both times.

all in all i must say...this is a good month for the **MAX**

Im suprised the GA GT didnt keep up with you atleast? They had, what? 3.4L 220 HP?

220 hp in a GA GT??? I think not...there is a 150 hp 2.4L, or a 160 hp 3.1L...you're probably thinking of the Gran Prix, which had a 215 hp 3.4L (in '96)....good kill, and way to beat out the cops!

ya my friends is a 96 4 banger, so its the 150 hp. 2.4 l

out of all the races ive had she keeps up with me the best off the line, well besides my bros prelude... which i did beat. but i think its because of the weight differences between our cars. hers is jus so small and i drive a damn boat.

lol, those guys must have had fun racing against a girl like you. I know I always have, no matter i win or loose. Good race.

What about yr signature, is it true? Or is it more of a statement. That's y i never race with friends riding shotgun, unless they themselves really keep on asking to race along with me. Same with riding drunk or tired.
