PLZZ HELP ME RUNNING OUT OF TIMe

i just bought a reagular switch from kragen and i have something that has a red wire and a black and red wire NOW how do i up the switch to the wires and get power out of it???
PLZ TELL ME CAR SHOW COMING UP I HAVE NO TIME!!!!

It sounds like you need the run the black and red (negative) wire to a ground, which should mean bolting the metal end of the wire to a clean, metal surface somewhere in your car. The red (positive) wire should go to the positive terminal of your battery. You can put the switch on this red positive wire. So, the red wire will come from whatever accessory you're hooking up, onto one terminal of the switch, and then off of the other terminal of the switch and straight to the positive power source. Depending on what you're hooking up, you may need to fuse it as well.
