International scout keeps cranking
Hey guys
I have this old truck for plowing and dragging logs. Its beat but runs pretty good. I have a push button starting switch and an ingnition system on switch. some times the thing keeps cranking and I can't shut it off, except for pulling the pos connection on the battery. not really sure how the ignition system works, but I'm thinking its the starter solenoid. any Ideas. thanks JKdon |

Re: International scout keeps cranking
Sometimes the solenoid sticks closed causing it to keep cranking. Have you changed any wiring recently? I did once and got the wiring backwards so it cranked after startup because the ignition wire was on the wrong post.
