This site is very helpful, but sometimes the small stuff just doesn't make it through. Like where and how. This is my first Regal and I had a hard time figuring out the radiator drain plug. I didn't want to break it. It's a white plastic valve on the drivers side facing the firewall. You can reach it from the top, just move the top radiator hose and with a pair of pliars turn it counter-clockwise a quarter turn and pull. Be gentle, it will pull out. Maybe this will help someone.
