phew...service manuals are about 1000 pages long, at least the one i have. Chiltons and Haynes are pretty short, but imho dont go as in depth as a service manual made by the manufacturer. My Ford service manual ran about $100 iirc. Chiltons or Haynes might be available at your local public library, but like i said are pretty weak imho compared to a "real" service manual.

Have you tried an internet search? Sometimes a well-wishing soul has illegally converted them to PDF files for you. Legally, there is no such thing as a free shop manual for anything newer than about 72 because of copyrights, but you might get lucky. I found one for my motorcycle but it was quickly removed for legal reasons.
