k & n air filter

i wanted to get some opinions about the k&n air filter. by itself do u think its worth the 40$, that is without a new intake. i didnt know how much of a difference it would actually make. so if you have used it and have an opinion please share it with me. i also wanted to know what all is involved in getting a cold air intake. how much extra performance will i get. will i feel a difference? how much does one of these cost? and is it worth it? thanks guys

the panel filter is not worth it on these cars. they have actually been dyno proven to lose 1 hp. they do make a cool sound though.

they also mess up the maf sensor.

for some reason the fipk will not mess up the maf and has been prove to add hp.

Re: k & n air filter

What? Dude I K+N filter is a huge difference in a car. I have one on the Volvo and my Crown Vic. It does add about the HP that they say. Plus it does last for a while.
I bought mine from here and they were cheaper.
