Oil-fillup w/cooler
I have a '97 CVPI which has a factory oil-cooler. Does this engine need 6 quarts of oil when changed? (oil pan +cooler?) I've never had a car with an oil-cooler before, so I'm not sure. Any info---Thanks....Tom

Re: Oil-fillup w/cooler
6 quarts is really close. It may be just a hair over or under. Start with 5 and warm engine, re-check and top off. I think about 5 3/4 quarts is dead on full.

Re: Oil-fillup w/cooler
Hey Tom. I got a sister in Ocala. I'm not retired yet, but my techs say I am way too old to do anything, hence the name. By the way, I also am a Tom.
