Allright, what do you people think of VAMPIRES?

Need some help with a Genetics report I'm doing

I don't mean Vampires like you see in the movies- I'm talking about normal humans with the hemoglobin deficiency that requires them to ingest purified blood or hemoglobin injections to remain healthy

So no buffy-pires. none of this "stake-through-the-heart-poof-into-dust-when-they-get-hit-with-sunlight-vampires"

Things that seem to be common knowledge- People afflicted with this condition often seem to have a few extra bonuses, including but not limited to-

1) Degraded Dayvision, but higher resolution Night Vision.
2) Hyperacute Senses of Smell and Hearing
3) Hard to tan, but easily burnt in sunlight
4) Natural Night owl Tendencies
5) Improved Reflexes and Reaction Time

So my question to you guys is, if your interested, what are your views on the topic?

I've always found vampires quite intriguing, even the fantastic ones such as the ones you see on blade =) I might come back and elaborate more later, right now I'm busy dreaming about a 240....

These are the topics that I thank god I do not have that type of deficiencies. This is sort of a deep subject one that is simular to those that are alergic to the sun or get sunburnt by just exposure to light let alone to direct sunlight.

Maybe one day sience will have cures for everything
