Porsche 962C From A

Hey

Started this a week ago and forgot to post some of the pictures. Here are some pics of the buildup and of the finished car

Airbrushed the body with modelmasters angels yellow
also did the rest of the pieces in metalizer Alu

Airbrushed the spoiler gloss black instead of the decals and finished the interior. There are just 5 pieces for the whole interior so not much detail.

Put on the decals and then clear. Only the front wondscreens is a little dull because of the clear. But the windows are molded in the body so i had not much choice.

Let me know what you think ????

Couldn't you have left the mask for the wind screen on to after the clear coat, if you had to clear coat it at all...unfortunately I think it destroyed all of your nice work...
best regards
Joel

Cool stuff! Are you saying the body is molded in clear right? Does this kit have an engine? Keep up the great work!

Re: Porsche 962C From A

The body is not molded in clear but the windows are molded already inside the body. So you have a yellow body with the windows already in place.
And after i clearcoated it i had the same idea about the mask's but i thought the clear wouldn't affect the windows. But you don't see it to hard so i'm quite happy with it
thx for the comment

ps : No engine.

Hello there!

I'm also working on a 962C, the Mizuno version. I wanted to know which colours you used for the underside of the chassis? Is that aluminum I see there, or is it light gray like they say in the Tamiya manual?

Greetz,

Stijn
