cam in me d series
does anybody have this. i looked at the zex street cam. it sounds very nice. ive heard a cam will give you better mpg from people that have em. zex says my valves and springs should be fine with this cam. what kinda draw backs would i see with this.

You use cam gears to dail in aftermarket camshafts. Without them, it's kinda pointless.

i looked at gude the site doesnt give much info so i emailed them. any one have any other info?

gude said with the head package i could be running 13s and i would have better gas mileage what more could some one ask for and it will cost about 1650 so....

Gude claims 25whp with their cams and they will work with your stock valves,springs and retainers.
Honestlly i don't think it can give you such amount of WHP unless you have alot of mods and proper fueling sistem but to make it more realistic it could be 10-15 hp increase on a mild modified engine .Their cams go for 295$$ i think.They even can custom made a cam for your car depending on your needs.. IMO they are worth it. They simply make the best for the SOHC. |
