good old pot holes.

i've been antisipating the build up of my 6bolt on the engine stand in my garage. 2-3 months ago i was almost ready to order 950cc injectors, aeromotive afpr w/ upgraded an lines, fpg, 255hp pump, and dsmlink. then when getting my 3rd pos car ready to drive for the durration of my down time. i ran into this issue that cost me $758.39 on a car with a whole sale book of $1100.

after spending 3 months recovering the losses i made my mind up i should go ahead and order the above parts with a 3in meagan downpipe. matter a fact i was really looking forward to it. one of the first things i've been think about when i wake up every morning. and the last thing i've been thinking about when i fall asleep.

yesterday my g/f and i were getting on the freeway coming from outback steakhouse for dinner when she BLINDLY when over the worlds largest pot hole at 60mph in my 02 elantra blowing out both front/rear passenger side tires. best part was the construction zone we were going through. no sholders. so she drove a little over 2 miles at 40mph on the aftermarket 16in chrome wheels. once we go a chance to hit an exit, she was crying becasue i was pissed (i may had been a little hard on the girl). i got out of the car and sure enough the wheels were bent, ground and chewed.. b.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l. came right out of my mouth.

had hyundai come tow me into les schwab (5 year unlimited road side assistance all free of charge with hyundai/kia/mitsubishi) had both rims and tires repaced costing me a little over $620.. what the fuck is wrong with my luck with my extra cars? i'm starting to think the DSM spirts are not on my side.

Wow that is a real downer. Why spend so much on new wheels and tires for a POS temp. car? Shoulda just went to a junkyard and got all that shit for prob. half the cost. What I woulda done, but maybe you needed the shit right away.
