S2000 SC
Comptech makes an SC for the S2000.... it's supposedly $5000, but does a solid 100hp. that's one crazy amount of power to be pushing from that high-compression engine!
See http://solar.innercite.com/comptech/page21.html and http://www.comptechusa.com/ . |

Incase you hadn't noticed, 11:1 compression isn't exactly ideal for forced induction. If you get anything less than 93 or 94 octane, a blower or turbo is a bad idea.

In the latest Turbo magazine they have a crap load of turbos for a bunch of different cars. For the S2000 they have:
Vortech: Vortech V2 SQ-trim supercharger, 7 psi, 297.6 hp at the wheels, vortech after cooler, and no price listed. Comptech: Paxton Novi 1000 supercharger, 5.5 psi, 285.9 hp at the wheels, no intercooler, $4,895 They didn't have any turbo's listed and I don't know of any kits, I'm sure you could make a custom turbo system running similar boost to these superchargers and get even more power. EDIT: Typo's |

go to www.s2ki.com to find out more info.
There is a company called speedcraft (i think speedcraft.com) that makes turbos, including one for the S2000. Several s2ki.com members own it. the kit includes everything you need (including a head gasket, etc. to drop compression) The kit is probably around $7000, however, the guys who have bought it are running 11.9-12.1 in the 1/4 mile on 6-8psi. the internals remain stock and have no problem holding that amount of boost. |

You can also try A Vortech supercharger (Vortechsuperchargers.com)which came with an "intercooler", gives more power than Comptech for the same price (+20 hp to the wheel)
SpeedOptions.com has built a turbo for the S2000 (boost you hp to 450) but it is necessary to chasnge the einge compression from 11 to 9.5 |
