02 galant turbo kit

i have an 02 galant es with the 4g64 engine and am thinkin about putting a turbo kit in. i found one on turbo-kits.com for $3500, comes with 16g turbo, manifold, downpipe & adapter, FMI, BOV, all piping, in-tank fuel pump, 6:1, 8:1 fuel pressure regulator, air intake w/filter, boost gauge, oil and water lines, and everything to install direct bolt on. what im wondering is if i should do anything to the tranny or engine to beef it up cause i dont wanna blow my shit up. i previously had an 03 pt cruiser turbo and thats what happened with the stock turbo! any help would be appreciated, thanks.
