My your just a wealth of Audi Info aren't you.
I thought the S3 used an inline 4 or a V6, Audi droped the inline 5 years ago, after selling the rights to Honda.

God damn this is no S3 , it's an old S4 based on the audi 100 , it came with 2.2 turbo producing 230 hp or a 4.2 V8 in many versions and names

here is the audi S3 (the real thing):

Sorry to dig this thread out from its grave, but there's something i never quite understood about the S3. I like the car, it looks great, but i have a problem with performance. The original had 210bhp, and 4wd, yet 0-60 was around 7 seconds. I knew it wouldnt handle, like, say, an Integrale, but in a straight line i thought it should have been nearer 6 seconds in the dash to sixty. Hell, the equally powered and equal power-to-weight- ratio Lancia Integrale EVO managed it in 5.7!

Whats the deal Audi?

Less torque, higher gearing.
According to Autocar, the Integrale Evolution did it in 6.0, and the S3 did it in 6.4.

Well, EVO claims 6.2 for the S3, guess the tester has a lot to do with it.

Re: S3

Well I live in Mexico, My cousin owns an audi S3 2001 with the 1.8 turbocharged engine quatrro producing 215 horsepower and its not as fast as it could be. Sea level acceleration is 0-60 mph in 6.4 and quarter mile in 15.0

Brass air fittings

Now that is a lot of brass air fittings http://www.liangdianup.com/subpages/airfitting_1.htm there is just about every type
of air fitting that you could want. Wholesale prices too. I guess these could be used as small water pipe fitting also. I
used some of the parts to make my babington wvo burner.
