RIP Captain Casey

He was put down today due to a fatty tumor around his intestine. He was showing signs of colic earlier before he was shipped off to a surgery.

Tis worse. It's like losing a family member. We literally grew up together. We bought him June 19,1999

Re: RIP Captain Casey

Sorry to hear it man, i know losing a pet that you really, REALLY love is rough. I am sure he at least enjoyed his time with you and at least you were good enough to put him down instead of having him suffer.

Actually it was to give him wormer. Which prevents colic. He was bad and I needed to beat the piss out of him. But he was a good boy many more time to make up for it. I always enjoyed seeing him even when pissed at him. He was the only living breathing thing that could calm me down when angry or cheer me up when I was sad.

I am ready to look for a new horse. I could say replacement horse but he can't be replaced he was just that good.
Edit: I went to take his name plate and stall guard and what was left of his supplement baggies. The hardest part was opening his empty stall door. They aren't ready to put a horse in there. Louise was surprised I opened the door to take what was ours out today.

I got my mom to look at this really nice horse. She told the barn owner that she wants to ride him a couple more times to see if she really likes him. He is a pleasure to ride. I will get pictures later on when I go ride.

Sucks to hear man, I just had to put my dog down 2 weeks ago after having him for 13 years, so I feel your pain. Oh and Oz, seeing as how you don't "give a fuck", don't make a useless post in the thread. Instead try doing something that will make the world a better place, like killing yourself.
