engine parts conservation
Ill be taking my engine apart in a few days and I was wondering if there was anything that I could spray the parts with that would seal them from moisture etc so they dont rust... The only thing I can think of is grease but just regular one would be rather hard to remove afterwards.

You mean interior parts or exterior parts?

Re: engine parts conservation
Oil is good for short term, like a month or two. Grease is better. I've also had good luck with a little WD40 in a Ziploc bag. The WD displaces the water and the bag doesn't let any new moisture in.
