Tamiya Ferrari F50

This is as far as i have been able to get. Once i am done with my senior portfolio i will have more time to work on the models. The brakes are amazing but the pictures don't show them too well.

Don't you know, it's 10 hp for every sticker, 50 hp extra for every additional inch of rear spoiler behond stock height.

Err..its yellow!!! ...I think thats all it is and i think the reason for it is that yellow is a hard colour to get right and the colour underneath can bleed through. But if that is the case why dont they mold them both in white???

TENZ - just fine at the moment, '84 300zx and 180sx are pretty much done and awaiting to have molds made. Working on the s2000 and 350z now, but some of the projects like F+F supra and ultimate celica are stalled bcoz i dont have a printer to print off pics as reference as i work - its very frustrating!!!

Looks good so far. Is Italian Red brighter than testors Gloss Red? Or is there some other difference?

I don't really know if there is a difference but when i used testors gloss red everyone teased me because it looked pink, which it didn't. so i'm going to use italian red this time.

I am still waiting for the primer on my F50 to dry before I can get any further on the body. Right now I am working on the chassis.

btw, my 512TR is just about finished. I know I have been saying that for months now, but I just need to add the black detail on the body.

here is my progress. the brown stuff on the interior is the decals that come with the kit. and the body doesn't look right in the pics. the color is more of a deeper red like the spoiler and the other parts.

Very nice looking. Have you decided if you are going to do the Barchetta or Berlinetta version? I think I am going with the closed top version, since I am not that good at interior detail.

This model is almost done, but i have to go to the craft store and buy a small black marker to do the trim that goes all the way around the car. i will have pics after i get that done.
