Guess what I saw . . .

On my way to work today . . .

I was a PRISTINE Pontiac Monza . . . I didn't even remember that such a car existed.

Anybody remember any specifics about this car . . . Any chance we could have a forum devoted to it?

What kind of engine did it have?

Any special features?

Pontiac Monza? Please provide more information because I have no memory of a car with that badge. Chevrolet had a Monza...and Pontiac sold it as the Pontiac Sunfire. Chevrolet has a Monza now, but there are no Pontiac versions of it.

Please, refresh my memory.

Chevrolet originally rolled out the Monza as a package for the infamous Corvair. It was mostly trim stuff. In time it developed into a performance model of the Corvair. Sometime in the 70s, Chevrolet ressurected the name as it's own model, a front engined rear drive compact car, I think the Pontiac sister car was the original Phoenix.

The monza and Sunbird are both H-body, so maby someone just took a monza badge and slapped it on the Pontiac. They could have many different engines, a 5.0L V8 being one of them (or 305ci)
