new car for noob

wats up guys my name is hash and im 18 years old. i am looking to buy a car in the next couple of months or so and i would like something cheap and modable. i will first get used to my car first rather than modding it immediately but i would like to have a car that can be modded easily. i am on a 5-6k budget just for the car. i was thinking of an eclipse or a civic or accord but those are just the cars that popped into my head. this car will be a daily driver and should have good reliability. thank you.

Mitsubishi is alright, not the epitome of reliable, but it will get you at least 5 yrs of quality use.

5.0 mustang is a good choice, they are cheap and easy to find, and parts for them are a dime a dozen, and 87 to 93 or so stock they run high 14's low 15's and a couple thousand in mods, will make it really fast

Re: new car for noob

if you get an eclipse, make sure to get a GST or GSX, the RS and GS are just overweight overpriced dodge neons with a worthless back seat.
