Daylight Savings Time

Do we REALLY need it anymore???

I mean, the larger majority of farming is now done on large, corporate farms and by machinery. Why should we continue to bother with changing our clocks???

Besides, America is basically the only place this rather out-dated practice is still carried on...

I wish we could stay on this time now. I like it lighter later. I say we dont "fall back"

since we have to do it and it doesn't look like that we are going to change it very soon we might as well have it on a thursday and have friday as a national holiday so everyone can get use to it.

Yea! Good idea!

On Topic: I think it's a silly idea, I mean... Change your clocks so you will get up earlier and fool yourself into thinking you have more daylight... Because according to the earths rotation, thats what your doing

I would much rather have no daylight savings and have it lighter earlier in the morning (much easier to get out of bed ) than have an extra hour of daylight in the evening.

I would rather avoid the whole thing. I work swing shift so it's not like I'm going to see the daylight anyway.

I didn't realize DST was still so widely used... Isn't it in Indiana where they choose not to participate or something???

I really just hate this BS about springing forward... Losing an hour is crap.

It's ok, I reckon, but it should start at least 2 or 3 weeks later, and finish 2 or 3 weeks earlier. Otherwise you're just getting up in darkness too much
