cr 250 jetting

hi, just put a pro-circuit works pipe and silencer and boyesen power reeds on my '94 cr250. now it wont idle and is sluggish on the low end. once it's running, if i hit the gas hard it stalls out which makes me think maybe i need to use a leaner pilot jet or a different needle position. the elevation i ride at is 800-2000 feet. any help is appreciated.

Rootie...sounds like you may need to go the opposite direction on the pilot jet. Looks more like a lean condition and you need to go richer on the PJ for your idling and low end problem. How many turns is your air/fuel mixture screw at?

Have you done a plug read and checked the color?
