ZC problem overview

ok here is the deal. My ZC runs pretty good. Nice and strong. but:

-after idling for a little bit it starts smoking really bad. also smokes sometimes when I'm getting on it

-i'm only getting around 200 miles (max) to the full tank under normal driving conditions.

-sometimes when i'm just driving normally the car will just stop accelerating in first or second gear. (i'm not sure if its a clutch/tranny problem or some kind of fuel injector problem.)

I'm using a 89 teg ecu and have replaced the wires, plugs, rotor/cap, tps, waterpump, and timing belt at time of swap.
so, anyone think they can help me out. to get this thing running perfect.

P.S - i'v got extremely bald tires on at the moment too.

OK i know it can't be your clutch and tranny. Maybe it could be the fuel injectors. Did you get the rite plugs? Maybe you might wanna try to regap it ..just incase.

It sounds like a fuel related problem to me. I suggest putting some carb/injector cleaner in ur tank and at least in the next few...also try some HEAT brand fuel additive(or similar) to remove water. also make sure that all vacuum hoses(if you have any) are plugged in so that unneccesary air isn't getting in. Air filter, oil, injectors would be the best to start with.....GOOD luck
