Cam walk

Installing the F303 in the 69 351w, do I need http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33614
or will a normal steel one be OK?

I would say no, but if the cam calls for it definately. It might also sugges t it somewhere in there. Mine didnt say anything about a thrust plate, even though it had walkthroughs with 351s. Old 302 blocks are majorly stronger than the new mexican ones arent they? Ive got a 77.

I dont know but I hope someone does because I'm worndering the same thing for my motor. [kind of a bumb I guess]

I used a normal steel one from FMS didn't seem to have any issue but I never got enough miles on the motor to take it apart and check.
