Did you ever get the racers stare down?
I'm not sure if this only happens with Imports or Almost any other street racer or ricer a like.
But when you drive around and a "racer" passes you by, did you ever look at them and catch them looking at you in a somewhat "i wanna race you, right here, right now" kind of look... it almost looks like they're staring you down with their ugly face... i find it very funny coz it happens to me all the time. and do you guys have your own racing face? haha

Yeah, i get it a lot, theres also a correlation between the stare downs and the "hunniez" in the car. Its like oooooh yeah your girls gonna be real impressed when you smack a ditch tryin to look like a hardass to a kid in a p.o.s. that really couldnt care less.
Its not just imports though, i had a v6 thunderbird tryin to look like a hardass thursday.

yeah, it happened to me quite frequently. One time I was in the turn lane and another guy was going strait and we were waiting at the light and he's staring my friend and I down the entire time. Im not sure if he was gay...you could take it either way by the look on his face. He was in a black acura that would've slaughtered my stratus but as we were turning he gave me the finger...stupid ass...

I get it, maybe cuz my car is black and i keep it lookin clean.I see alot of that going around here, if you see a black car that looks clean as hell, u can't help but stare as you go by.That and when I downshift comming up to a light, people hear my BV and stare at me, some with respect and others with hate (mainly guys in mustangs...go figure)

I get it a lot, well, one because my car, and two because my exhaust is so damn loud. When you got the exhaust fumes blowing through the headers then 2 1/2 in. pipes to the cherry bombers more piping and out dual 3 1/2 in. outlets on each end. It rattles the whole car. I have crap coming loose in the car because of it.

yeah, but why not just use some good highflowing greddy mufflers? is yours a turbo or no?
but i guess cherry bombs do flow a little better than most mufflers. and who said i like cats

The cats thing is just in general, no offense meant. The cherri's are in place of the cats. I do have some custom mufflers on. Free flow dual 3 1/2 in. outlets.

cherry bombs tend to disturb airflow, mainly b/c of all of the little louvers in them that quiet the sound. instead of helping to smooth the airflow, it disturbs it. that is why it is preferable to have something with a straight thru design... not necessarily a straight muffler, but one that has smooth flow.
and why not just run w/o cats? and i have seen alot of zcars that had just mufflers (free flow), no cats, and they werent that loud... NEWAYS.... i get the stare from everyone b/c my prelude is yellow and freakin loud. when i downshift to slow down, you can't hear the passenger talking. nice. so i get the look alot. i usually dont even acknowledge, b/c hell, they're gonna try to race anyways and we all know i will. i had some dude's girl lean across him last nite to see if i wanted to race. he was on my right... crazy...
