|
Anyone else's internet being uber-stupid lately?
Mine is being slow and only maybe half the websites i try to go to actually come up. Even AF was down for me for a while.
Normally I wouldnt make a thread, but it seems Im not the only one having issues. Anyone else? And does anyone know WTF is going on?

only sight that seems slow lately is AF? I just assumed the server was getting bogged down again.

my internet is finnicky...its cause of the stupid school network...it goes down at least once a week

And I'm sure he loves you too...
My internet has been shutting down fully, but it's the dorm's so I really don't know who we're with. I gotta go to school to check anything. Sucks major...I just hate it. But yeah, AF has the little come back in 5 mins. It's a boring message though. Makes me miss the Blue Screen of death....

I'm on comcast High-speed cable, and for the past year it was down maybe 3 times, and at least two of them because of storms. Overall it's great, but lately it has been having a few problems like this.

Well the biggest problem I have had lately is my internet just kind of stopping at random times and then i have to recon. Its a real pain in the ass but im cheap and dont want to pay for dsl or cable.

my internets been buggy lately too, i've got quest dsl though, also a couple friends that live in a totally different neighborhood have quest, and theirs is running like shit too.

Work computer here has been kinda slow lately; Home computer - forget about it, still on dial-up !!!
I changed my sig and tried to change my avatar here a couple of weeks ago and had a bitch of a time getting everything to "show". Sometimes, the sig would show and the old avatar wouldn't; then the new avatar would not show up at all. Finally got the sigs to work and gave up on the avatar and went back to the old one. I think the internet is running out of storage space and needs to be "rebooted".

 On all things. My comp wouldn;t show my sig and sometimes not my avatar either. So, i got tired and just changed my sig. Go with a flag like veryone else now...

I'm on Comcast and went through the steps to try and fix its recent retardation stage, but I couldn't because I went to..
1. Start-right click on My Network Places. 2. Local area connection 3. Properties 4. Then there is no TCP or ICP connection things. any advice? please? me and my dad have been dumfounded about this.

On Comcast, and EVERY night for the past week, after 9pm, my internet works about 5 mins/hr. I have a strong connection, like I can talk on AIM, but all sites are slow and buggy and never connect. Going to try switching my DNS.
