XM satalite users...???

I need the scoop...
is the quality near CD quality.
does it still have the bass response...
is it worth the 9.99 / month fee.
any other info would be helpful

Ive had xm for about a month now. Its great, but be warned, you really need some good speakers to get the good sound. Also its not 9.99 a month, they charge you quarterly and its 15.00 bux for activation, I get wierd looks and questions about the antenna, its not very attractive. All and all if you wanna pay 27 bux quarterly to listen to foxnews be my guest......

well if you knew much about satalite.. you would know its digital... and so are CDs... well so to speak... but yeah its CD quality and above. my friend has it in his car and its freaking great sound. dont know what it will sound like with like a stock system or anything... but yet it sounds good with aftermarket stuff.

its nice to have techno and stuff 24/7... just makes crusing nice... and you never have to change channels to get reception

and by "techno" im sure you are referring to the specific genre of electronic music, called "techno", not classifying electronic music all as "techno" right? (the likes of richie hawtin...t1000...dylan drazen...frankie bones..adam x...heather heart..

And then both of you guys w/ you sewing maching powered cars get passed by a moped w/ a 5hp Engine and he goes on to put 5 car lengths on you. Racing an EX vs a DX is like a 10 speed bike vs a golden retriever.

no freaking joke. Spend $200 or so on a CD player and amp if you want CD sound and use the rest for CD's. OOOORRR get some freakin cool stuff like (if you don't have it) Headers and Cat-back or custom paint job plus SLAM, or even, save your money and buy a whole crap load of TYPE-R BADGES!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!

lol, sorry, didn't mean to come off so hard. Point was, I wouldn't spend $900 for a better radio. plus monthly fees blow. My advice is wait a few days so I can tell you how awesome my MP3 HU and SONY H.O.P. speakers are, then you decide

The antenna is not that bad if its on a truck but on a small car it will look down right shitty.
