I *HAtE* going ot the movies

So I went with my g/f to see Sahara on Saturday, and we got there about 3 minutes late, squeezed into a packed theater. There was a set of 4 seats off to the side, two seats occupied by another older couple. Just as soon as we got ready to sit down, this guy from in front of us turns around and just gives me the DIRTIEST fucking look. He's there with his girlfriend. I ignored it and sat down. The lady next to me had her foot on his seat. He turns around about 5 minutes later and goes "exCUSE me!! Can you take your FOOT off of my SEAT?!" I don't know what he's talking about. My feet are OBVIOUSLY flat on the ground. So I'm like "My feet aren't ON your seat..." And the lady takes her foot off, he turns around. I didnt' say anything, what's the point. We go on watching the movie, no problem, The kid leaves and then comes back and I hardly noticed. Then like 15 minutes after first conflict, some attendant coems down and is like "hey you need to keep your feet off of the seats in front of you, please." And it's some deusched up kid. I'm like "what?!" And he' repeats it and is like "if it continues I may have ot ask you to leave." And the kid won't turn around, eyes straight ahead. I lean up next to the kid's head and am like like "My feet were not on YOUR SEAT... fuckin asshole" and he never turns around, says nothing.
Attendant boy is like "well this is pretty crowded and there's not a lot of room to move your knees so,"
And I gotta cut him off again and have the lady next to me tell him herself that it was her foot at the BEGINNING of the movie, and nothing after. She says it was her at the bEGINNING and that was all; i hadn't done shit. Then I'm like if this punk bitch in front of me would grow up we wouldn't have this problem. Attendant says it's not worth arguing over and I told him I'd be speaking with his manager. He leaves. No more problems until the end of the movie when I give the kid a nasty look and shoot him a smile and say nice move shitbag. He won't even look at me again. He wouldn't even get up until he looked out the corner of his eye to see if I was gone. So I went and bitched to the manager, whose fault I KNOW it wasn't but I couldn't enjoy my movie because im getting harassed by attendants, who later stood at the top of the theater for 20 minutes after this whole thing. Got my money back over the problem and deuschnozzle kid stayed FAR away from me. Normally, I could understand if shit happened over and over or something... but like just as soon as I sat down it was like this kid had some sort of huge vendetta against me, and he acted aggressive at first and I thought we were gonna get into it but he straight pussied out after he heard the lady admit fault. But he straight singled me out and I'd never even met him before. I hate going to the movies. There's ALWAYS some sort of problem...

I have not been to the "movies" in quite a few years (I think Titanic was the last movie I saw). I am sick of all the inconsiderate people that think they can disrupt the movie with cell phones, talking and acting like a-holes. Not to mention that with movies being around 2 hrs. or longer, that is a lot of time to sit in those small uncomfortable chairs.

I have quite the home theater system in my house and enjoy watching movies there. I have a big screen TV and the full sound system that can shake the windows if I choose. I will wait until the movies come out on DVD and watch them at home, on my comfortable couch with no one disturbing me ... except for my wife, who loves to yell at the TV !!!!

haha... thats some good stuff man sounds like you showed that punk ass up. I've had similar things happen at movie theaters...except where people are throwing shit, and a group of me and my friends almost got into it with some other kids.

I feel your pain, dude. My advice: go see the movie way after it comes out in theaters. Wait till all the excitement dies down and see it then. If you're lucky, you might get the whole theater to yourself. I do this all the time. It's way better than having some bitch-ass people fucking with you so you can't enjoy the movie. Plus, you can get any seat in the place.

Atleast you didnt experince the sh*t I did, I will usually make out during a movie if its boring. Thoe one couple thought that they were alone and started having sex in the movie theater right next to me. I was really pissed off especially that it was 2 drunk ugly fuks that pissed me off cause all they did was moan then yell at movie. By the way the movie was Robots which I was seeing with a cousin at the time, really mature to have your nasty ass girl friend and boyfriend to have sex infront of a couple 12 year olds.

there was one time I was unknowingly tapping my foot against the back of someones seat, and he apparently had been saying stuff to me about it for a long time, but I didnt notice cause I was watching the movie. Anyways, later he turned around and said something loud, and I couldnt hear it, but I was like... damn this dudes mad at someone... and then after the movie the people I was with said he was talking shit to me to stop hitting his seat. But I didnt stop cuz I never realized I was doing it till after the movie. He didnt do anything, but I felt like a jerk, and it was kinda funny cuz it didnt matter anymore. Oh well... I hate packed theatres too, I like to stretch my legs over top of the seat in front of me and sprawl out. Or better yet I like the seats where the armrest folds down in the row in front, and you can put your legs through and rest em there.

I only go to the movies if there's a movie i really want to see, otherwise i wait till it comes out on video, for some of the same reasons listed. I finally got fed up when i was trying to watch a movie at one of the local theatres and a bunch of thugs thought it would be funny to play tag in the theatre....

I only go to the $3 theatre in town. You just wait a couple of months and you get to see the same movie and there are only like 5 other people in the whole theatre. I don't know how they keep the doors open.

All the ones in my town didnt keep their doors open. And usually at the big theater in town, there's always a pack of little 13 year old kids that think they're in a gang and jump over seats and run acorss the theater, run at the screen, just to show off. I remember onetime, I think in Scooby Doo, the pack of prepubscent kids behind me wouldn't stfu, and the littl ethug wannabes got kicked out, the ENTIRE audience started clapping and they were like "man fuck you man!! i want my money back!!" it was so funny. And then I turned to the kids later and told them to stfu and they did, then one decided to be a smart-ass and waited like 10 minutes and imitated me, said it 3 times, so I bitched to the manager then and got my money back AND got the kids kicked out. And turned around to watch every one of them as the attendant dragged them out and they look at me all pissed off. that's what they get. Just COULDN'T contorl those raging little hormones for les than an hour...

I love the movies, I go when I can. I saw Robots in the city on sat for my Birthday, and saw "Guess Who" on monday with the girlfriend.

I usually go late at night though, less kids.
