Lowering
Hi,
I'm going to lower a car for the first time and the kit is the Revell Integra. I was wondering what is the best way to lower this car? Thanks |

Re: Lowering
do a search, there are lots of threads on this one.
personally I would look at how it is done in real life and try to emulate it as best I could.

Re: Lowering
Depends on the construction of the model. You could shorten the strut, reglueing it with a pin to strengthen the join, reposition the hub holding the disk/rim, or move the whole strut tower up. Whatever you do, think it through, ensuring everything will be strong and do a lot of test fitting, don't want any nasty surprises at the last minute.

Re: Lowering
Check the "how-to's" there's a great one in there for lowering. Never tried it myself though as I've had no need to.

Re: Lowering
Dry-fit the suspension parts and determine how much you can lower the car. Essentially, all you need to do is to cut the strut parts short, and bend the control arms. That's about it.
