Caterham Super Seven JPEs

Thought this belonged here more than in the regular forum…
These are shots of the engine of the second Caterham JPE that I built for Mr. S. Tamiya. It is pretty much an exact copy of the first one I did, but you can see by comparing the shots that SoCalMark posted (in Vric’s original info requesting thread) of the first one that it has a little weathering and aging to simulate a couple years of use. (It was built about two years after the first one.)

This is a shot of the interior of the first one. Note the suede covered steering wheel…

…and one of the many machined parts, the fuel filler cap.

Here the two JPEs are together, the one on the bottom is the first JPE I built. The fluorescent color is difficult to capture on film or digital…

Here are four 7s that I built in order from first to last built, from right to left, (all three Tamiya 1/12 kits represented)... - Mark

Scale Master! Scale Faster!!

Wow, those all rule. Amazing work there. Just amazing. I would be honored to be either you or Mr. Tamiya... being recognized by him or getting one of those builds to keep...? I don't know which I would rather!

Those cars worth more than 3 replys.

I know it's not japaness tuner crappy civic, but hey, this is quite serious modelling skill here.

Re: Caterham Super Seven JPEs

Like Jay said pictures can't show it all, you need a magnifying glass to see it all. Marks work is stunning.
