AC lift installed!

With the help of PNWX member Andy, we installed the AC lift in 6 hours. I already had my upgraded t-bars and shocks installed so I didn't have to mess with that.

We did the front first and it's pretty straight forward with the exception from getting the damn ball joint seperated from the steering knuckle! The AALs were a piece of cake! I took lots of pictures of the install so I will be putting those up on www.pnwx.net soon.
The measurements are as follows: (I have 5k on my 32 BGF muds)

Front before:
Ground to the bottom of the fender lip = 34"
Ground to the upermost pivot point of the lower arm = 11"
Ground to frame at the 1st crossmember under the driver = 14.25"

Rear before:
ground to the bottom of the fender lip = 35"
grount to frame just in front of the spring hanger = 15.25"
space between the bumpstop and axle = 3"

After the lift was installed

Front after:
Ground to the bottom of the fender lip = 36.50"
Ground to the upermost pivot point of the lower arm = 13.50"
Ground to frame at the 1st crossmember under the driver = 16.75"

Rear after:
ground to the bottom of the fender lip = 37.25"
grount to frame just in front of the spring hanger = 17.75"
space between the bumpstop and axle = 5.25"

As you can see, it ended up being about 2.5 inches of new lift. Not bad! I probably could have eeked another half inch out of the front but I don't want to put any undo stress on it. I will post some pics tomorrow.

Is the AAL the same one that Philosopher installed on his truck & some others (myself included)? This one has "RS510" on one side and "P57022" on the other (although I think I remember on mine these numbers were on the same side but opposite ends of that side).
Well, I just looked closely @ the pictures on the PNWX website & I think the AALs are in fact different ones--I guess you need more arc for the AC lift....
So, since you sort of bought bits & pieces of the lift package over time (t-bars, idler arm brace, etc....) does that mean AC is willing to sell the lift components somewhat separately?
Also, is there any rake to the truck now?

As far as I know, they are the same AALs that everyone has been installing.
Nissan Mike will sell the lift in different section if you want. In this case, I purchased the front end of the kit (bushings, ball joints, a-arms) for $350 and the AALs for $60.

Great! That's exactly what I wanted to hear (on both counts).
I think in this case we all could make an exception & allow at least one driveway shot.

In the 2nd picture especially you can get some good perspective--notice how the ground-rocker panel distance is noticeably greater than the rocker panel-body side moulding distance.
