Issues with Banning

Ok im just tired of this opinionated crap. Moderators dont need to be calling anyone a moron. This whole forum was designed to bring car lovers 2gether and ask questions to learn. WE ALL STARTED ON DAY 1! So in other words since im 18 and i "dont know as much as you" than at least you could give us some advice without being opinionated or say "but thats my opinion" I did say what i did about the spark plugs. The reason why i said that was because ive been around racers and racing. I didnt say they were the best NOR did i say thats the only good ones. I just said racers use them. MAJORITY of racers use them. Is that better? No 4 out of 4 people are always going to use the same anything. But u seem to state the obvious. All i want is to state what i know, get ADVICE, learn something so i know more, and go about my way. Answering questions how i know how is also what i want to do. So please just help with your opinions and not overlook someone because of their knowledge. Notice, i dont own a honda. And im 18. So be proud the tradition LIVES!

Re: Issues with Banning

Dude...get over it. That guy broke the rules, and he was dealt with. That simple. GTStang is a moderater. He moderates this forum and keeps it clean of all the random jackasses who throw stupid shit in perfectly good threads. If you got a problem with him..PM him. I'm sure GTStang will talk to you and handle the situation. When you come on these forums being a blatant moron throwing around personal attacks..you can't be surprised when you get banned and your thread is closed.

im not speaking for him. i know he took it over the line. but hes got a point. opening it to everyone is a little different than a pm. he can just tell u 2 screw off. i dont understand where "moron" becomes a good moderation. he could have been JUST cocky and say, "well you're banned" i just wish this forum would just be interesting and full of info instead of it being a opinion war. Thats all i got to say about it.

Re: Issues with Banning

not to continue the arguement but that still doesn't mean a moderator is justified to throw a personal attack against the banned wether they had it comeing or not, the ban shoudl be enough. Anyway, i've said enough, and have already made a jackass out of myself so i'm out of here for now. Thanks for some support tturn but now it's porbably best to jsut drop the issue, and PM the mogerator if we have porbs as dampachi said. I'm over it, but i paid the price for being a jack ass about it.

tturnpaw you are almost comical in your hypocrisy. Shall we enter exhibit A:http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=370413

For those who do not want to click on it here is the quote:

Yea tturnpaw you are the picture of tolerance and all about answering questions.

What happens when some1 semi-insults you.
How about exhibit B: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...2&postcount=23

Also let not forget you quote went a lil farther than you let on about with the spark plugs. but dont get autolites or splitfire. those are crap.

Opinionated much? I don't remember saying any brand plug sucks so where is my horribly opinion laded post? Did you not like that I believe crazy factual things like heat range and gapping matter over brand name?

1.So let's see you insulted someone in here who never insulted you.

2.When some insulted you... you insulted them right back! But how dare I right?

3.And your post is 100% more opinionanted than mine.

How about when you can hold yourself to the standards you set forth for me... then you can talk.

Re: Issues with Banning

Very good points by Bobby!
Do on to others, as you would want done onto you, life by this rule.

Now, Bobby and I have been around long enough and are part of enough forums on the internet, to know when new users come on if they are going to to be a bad seed, and if they break rules in their first couple posts, then they are delt with.

As I stated in the LAST THREAD I CLOSED, if there is a problem with a way a moderator or member is acting, please PM another moderator, such as myself. Rather then posting threads like this, which we all kow will be closed. Looks like I may have to start visiting AF a little more, to keep things in line!
