Flashing is where two joints meet in the mold and you have the lil extra the oozes out so to speak, this is flashing. Almost all intake manifold have some flashing unless you port them.

I seriously doubt that a piece of flashing thin enough to break off would be able to ruin a motor. Honestly your talking about a one in a million type situation if that is even what happened but I doubt it like crazy.

The TFS intakes are one of the top intake manifolds for a 5.0 w/o question.

Re: Trickflow Intake

Let see, I had an impeller from my S trim go through my engine. All I did was take the engine's head off, cleaned out the metal, put it back together and started her back up.

Just look at the intake when you get it, nothing a few mins with a grinder can't solve.

Re: Trickflow Intake

Oops, the impeller blades broke off and went through my engine. Sorry for the confusion.

If it was just the empeller, that big chunk of metal would have not made it passed the TB.

Some Octane booster will fix that right up! If not some turn signal fluid should do the trick! I thought i had problems.....
