Alarm System

Got in my 2002 explorer after driving it all day and it wouldn't start. When I turned the key the theft light started blinking really fast. I looked in the owners manual and did what it said to due, but no luck. I tried to disconnect the battery hoping that it would reset the system, but again no luck. What else is there to do?

Re: Alarm System

Have you tried another key? SOmetimes carrying the key around other keys will kill the transmitter.

Thumbs up

Found out that the problem with the alarm was my battery was bad. I took it in and had it tested and out of the 650 CCA that the battery had was missing 649. Replaced the battery and it works great.
