I went to my local motorsports shop (Vertex Motorsports) and asked if they would be able to do the DET swap for me since I haven't really done any engine work in my life (thought it would be safer if someone did it for me ). The guy that owned the shop said that he was kinda reluctant to do it because if something were to go wrong, he wouldn't know what to do. Don't know what that means but... I also asked if he knew of any shop around here (Northern Virginia) that would do it, and didn't. I went to another shop (Evolution Motorsports) and asked if they would do it, they only do Honda swaps. So, basically I have no one that will be willing to do this swap. i_rebel, where does that guy live in VA? I go to school in Charlottesville (southern Virginia) and if it's not too far from there, maybe I'll drive to him. Does anyone know of any place in the Maryland, DC, Northern Virginia area that does the DET swap? Thanks!
