Do i really need the wiring harness?

This is how much i paid for my swap...motor/trans/ecu for 1087.50 after taxes!(thought u guys might wanna know) IT seems like it came with the whole wiring harness?? How can you really tell if its the whole harness or not? So do i need to buy the HaSport ones or just use the wiring on my crx si? Thanks

Exclamation Harness

What motor did you get? If it's a ZC, the Si wiring harness will hook right up, if its a B16, you probably need to get an HASport so that it is complete. (I think, but I don't have a B16 personally, so you may want to verify that.) I do have a ZC, and my stock harness worked fine. Happy swapping!

Just use your si harness man. Use the b16a harness for spare plugs for the 4 wires you need to run for the b16

There are only 4 wires extra for the B16 in a 4th gen Si?

Yeh i just found out that they gave me the whole wiring harness!! Its just plug ins now. I think i just have to rewire the v-tec pressure thing? Shit i don't know lol. I have the J1 tranny and the speed sensor seems like its been cut? It has the long black stiff wire ( i think its a wire) that looks like it has been cut? I looked at my friends Y1 tranny and its totally different from what i see ? Can you help me on that part?

There should be a black boot covering the bottom part of the speed sensor that is still in the trans. Under it should be a clip holding the sensor into the trans. Take the clip out and pull the old sensor out. Then once the motor and trans are in the car plug in your stock speed sensor and secure it with the clip. HTH

The stock sensor from the d16a6 or the b16? The only black boot on the sensor is located on the top where the wires come out of it?

Yeah, there should be a clip holding the sensor into the b16 trans. Take it out and then plug in your stock sensor and use the clip to secure it.
