I've replaced both the front bulb and the side marker light bulb and I can't get the front right turn signal to work, do I have a bad wiring harness or is there some other trick I'm missing? The right rear works other than the fact it blinks twice as fast as normal, I assume that's the indicator letting you know you have a signal out.
Thanks Brian |

Have you checked for current at the bulb socket? Use a test light and see if it flashes. If there is no flash, suspect the multifunction/turn signal switch.

You may also want to try the Hazard lights. If they work fine, you know the wiring is fine to the bulbs and the bulbs are okay. The problem then is likely the multifunction switch. What about parking lights? Do they work in the front? The bulbs use the same ground for parking and turn signals. If you have a bad ground for the fronts, it could cause your problem (turn signals and parking lights would not work or not be at full intensity). The test light would show you this as well. If the test light works with the ground lead grounded to a good ground, move the ground lead to the ground for the turn signal bulb at the socket. If the test light no longer flashes, you have a grounding issue. Good luck! -Rod |
