Caballo Diablo

Hey all!! It's been a while since I started a new "serious project".This Mustang a heavily modified Rev-Mon '66 GT350H body. I drew most of my inspiration from the '05 Mustang. The rest of the project will consist of a modified '96 Mustang Cobra convertible (again Rev-Mon) frame, interior, and drivetrain. Wheel and tire combo is not yet decided on.

Virtually all body panels are left untouched. Only the rear windshield remains untouched. I'm stuck on what to do with the hood. Right now it has the stock scoop, but I fear it will spoil the lines of the rest of the car. Any ideas?

Here's the pics...

Re: Caballo Diablo

I would cut out the scoop and throw a blower on that engine. Looks like it will be a fun project, let's see some pictures of the cars when you get a chance.

Here's a shot of the tail. The taillight panel is scratchbuilt, as is the rollpan. I also molded in the rear bumper.

Re: Caballo Diablo

It looks fine with the kit hood, no bigger, no smaller. Love the idea.
