Unhappy Back? So Soon?

Well this story won't be told in the fashionable Civ-Your-Hero way. Yes, some of you may be wondering why I am back so soon. Others may just not care. And some didn't even know I left at all. But here I am, back only after two days. Pretty lame, but there are some interesting stories to tell. I will first announce that I don't have any vids, I will explain that first. Although, I will aslo tell you guys of some pretty cool things I saw there, and on the way down.

OK. The reason we don't have vids is because Marsh and Jon were put in jail. Jail you say? Yes, jail. Here's what happened. Well, Wednesday night, Marsh met up with Jon and I. We went out, got our hotel room off the strip, and decided to go for a cruise. I took my Civ, and Marsh and Jon went in the Accord with the vid camera. We decided to cruise and see what we could find. Try to get some girls to talk to us, look at the nice cars cruising about, and we even found some hookers in the outsides of Las Vegas, who Jon talked to and tried to get one in the car with him, but he didn't have any cash with him .

After a short period of time, Marsh and I were getting ancy to go at it. Since our last race ended up with him winning by a few car lengths, I wanted to test how the Civ would perform this time around. We managed to find a pretty desolate road in the Suburbs outside of Vegas. Jon had the camera ready and Marsh honked us down. 3,2,1! We launched, and I was clealy ahead by half a length, 2nd came, and Marsh began to pull a bit more, finally 3rd and I'm nearing 80 mph. Marsh and I are dead even. Headlights in the distance, the radar detector beeps 1. Shit, a cop. Suddenly a spot light and the car stops just ahead. I slow down, signal to Marsh, and we both fly past the cop in the middle of the road. About 1/2 mile down the road, I'm ahead of Marsh, and the cop is coming up on us, I just so happen to see an open street leading into a residential area. I signal and turn, Marsh continues going straight. I only pray that the cop goes by. I stop, turn off my lights, and hop out of the Civ and walk down the street a bit. I turn back to see the cop go past the street! Holy, talk about luck. I call Marsh, and say call me if anything goes wrong.

Well, long story short, the cop caught us going 85 in a 30. Well, he caught Marsh anyway. They somehow ended up in jail on some charges that I am still unsure of. They also comphiscated the video camera, impounded Marsh's Accord, and then I got a call at about 2 in the morning. Guess what? I had to post bail. Guess how much? $500 for the both of them. Luckily, they didn't rat me out, because the cops had questioned them about the other car in the video. They couldn't tell because they could only see the side of my car. So I lucked out, but Marsh is still in Vegas trying to get his car out of the impound. And I'm out $500. And Jon is back at home, both of their parents are aware of what happened and are going to reimburst me later on. But still, a pretty crazy trip, too bad it didn't last that long. Pretty much all my money was spent on their bail. Well, atleast we're alright.

But some of the really cool things I saw:

1. A Pack of 350Z's (6 Total). 1 Gold one, 2 White ones, 1 Dark Blue one, 1 Silver and 1 Black Z. It was one of the coolest things I have ever seen. It made me want a Z at that moment just so I could ride along side of them. Happened right along the St. George area (for anyone that knows Utah). They were so sexy. Pretty rare siting. Made my evening.

2. Coupla chicks flashed us as soon as Jon and I entered into Vegas. Yeah, it was on the vid. *Sniff* atleast it's all up in my noggin. They were pretty hot might I add. Vegas, gotta love it. They know how to welcome bachelors ever so nicely.

3. A turbocharged Yellow Integra Type R flew right past me. I looked in my side view mirror and it was right there a car length back. Right away I noticed the FMIC. I looked ahead and before I knew it, I heard this screaming, a quick Psshhhh, rip of the tires and it was gone. Man my ears hurt for a while. But the pain was well accepted. Truely one of the quickest cars I've ever seen.

Pretty much all of that happened right before we met Marsh. There were other things that were pretty cool. But those were what I figured may interest you guys the most. It was a short trip. But a lot happened in such a short period of time. Too bad I didn't get to stay there longer, but I didn't have any money . Sorry no vids, pics, but only a story to tell as always. Sorry if I disappointed anyone. But atleast I tried. And yes I already know . But that's all I can give you guys. Atleast I still have a few days off from work to enjoy, slack off, and I'll try to get pics up of my old parts and my newly installed parts. Sorry once again, and Enjoy! L8...

THat's absolutely horrible. I hope you friend doesn't have any bad blood since he got caught, and you didn't. My friend got pulled in his mustang GT going 25 over, and I was right next to him, but I got away. I provoked him, and felt like crap. Sorry your trip went south.

Re: Back? So Soon?

Nah, all that matters is that we're alright, and no further problems came about. Marsh doesn't have a problem at all about being caught. He's glad because I'm the one who had the money to post bail. Kind of funny. But all in all, We plan on doing it again. Marsh is actually moving back here to Utah, so maybe we can actually get a vid (if he can get his car back). Who knows, but I'm fine with everything. They're alright, I'm getting reimbursted, and I still have plenty of vacation left to enjoy it. Thanks bud appreciate the concern. L8...

Re: Back? So Soon?

Back so soon? Go away a lil longer, it was so peaceful... haha j/k.

Man that's rough, posting bail and losing the video. Getting caught racing is the worst, but I'm surprised you were caught in Vegas. Were you in East Las Vegas or what? Everytime I've been out there I saw little or no cop presence, depending on the neighborhood. Well we all live and learn, and probably race another day.

Re: Back? So Soon?

I wasn't caught, I got away without any problems. Well except that fact I'm still down $500. But still, the whole trip was ruined because of that matter. Either way, I'd rather not have that sort of ticket on my record, spend a night in jail, and have my car impounded. So I'm pretty happy. Marsh actually got his Accord back this morning too . He's happy about that.

I was surprised I stayed neck and neck with him, but he did have the extra weight added nonetheless. Still, I'm impressed with the Civ. As for what area we were in, I don't really know. We just drove around until found a good area to race at. Wasn't really paying attention. But I'm going back again in a few weeks with the old man too. I love Vegas. L8...

Re: Back? So Soon?

that definitely sucks but you'll get your $500 back when your friend shows up to court. bail's not punishment. your friend is probably gonna lose his license though.

Re: Back? So Soon?

Well, with the money saved you could do more stuff to your Civic. Didn't you say that you're getting like $1000 in tax return? Add to that the $500 and psssssssshhhhhhh.

Re: Back? So Soon?

Yes, yes. Tax Returns are coming soon too. That is what I am waiting for. Who knows what I'll do. I don't even know what I'm going to do because I'm so flakey . We'll see. It's only a matter of weeks before I know. I'll be sure to let you guys know though of course. L8...

Re: Back? So Soon?

Whoa, that sounds like one hell of a trip...hopefully my trip there won't be as "adventurous"...hell I dunno if I'm even gonna be the one driving there or not.

Re: Back? So Soon?

Thanks for the tip off Jayson. I checked it out, and pmed him to send me some pics. But I think I might go with the GReddy Kit. That is a pretty sweet deal he's throwing out there though. Have fun in Vegas Street Racer 00. Hope you get the same welcoming I got when you arrive. I'll tell ya, that was the best welcoming ever. I would still be down there if I had the money right now. I'd probably be at a strip bar too . L8...

Your firesticks are what took our land .

I never provoked Marsh to race. We both had stated that we would race the next time we met up. So we both lined up, raced, cop spotted us down the road, and I luckily got away. But Jon and Marsh were glad because I had the money to post their bail. They would have been stuck in there for atleast a day or two had I not done that for them. But I'm still getting my money back regardless of the matter. L8...
