Eclipse offers itself up for sacrifice to the Mustang

Doh!

Today is one of the rare days when I feel like driving my mustang around. So I'm headed to the bank to make a deposit... and there's a silver eclipse up ahead at a stop light, just stock... nothing out of the ordinary. I pull up and it's two old guys in it... like OLD GUYS in their late 60's or so. So I'm like... well okay cool whatever.

So the one old guy in the passenger seat gives me this weird wave and says "hellooooooo there!". I say "Hey how's it going?" and he just waves again... maybe he couldn't hear me... I stare straight ahead and try not to feel too retarded.

So the light turns green and I take off normal. He tries to gun it... so I'm thinking... eh... I shouldn't... but screw it I'll have some fun with him. So I give it some gas and pull far ahead, not really trying hard at all... I didn't think he was trying hard either until I hear this loud *BANG CRUUUNNNNCHHHHHH BANG!*. Next thing I know he's turning into the gas station right before the bank and smoke is pouring out of his car. The old dudes didn't look too happy.

Moral of the story is... don't push your car when you're not really racing... it's not worth it!

lol Naw man... I didn't consider that a kill at all. I was just giving it a little throttle at like 2500 rpm.

Too bad for their car though... the bad part is it was probably their granddaughters car or something. Lame.

What's new with your car?

I just hate seeing older men in cars that I want so bad.

sounds like you killed the eclipse or the eclipse just went ahead and killed itself. Two birds with one stone.

Re: Eclipse offers itself up for sacrifice to the Mustang

lol i love seeing old people driving around in cars that are supposed to be for young people. Like scion for example. Scion is a subside of Toyota i think it is? Well its one of those jap companies, anways the car is designed for teens. They are cheap and can be customized. The commercials always show teens in them and such. Anways i see more old people driving those cars than anyone. The otherday i saw a a 70 year old man driving a Scion TC, i see old ladies driving the XB all the time too. Whats next will i see my grandma shoping at the gap?

I don't think it had a turbo... it was pretty damn slow. The smoke was blue'ish coming from under the hood... not good.

Thanks for the compliment.
